Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 12, 2026
1. Who we are
The Worldwide First Aid platform, available at www.worldwidefirstaid.com (the "Platform"), is owned and operated by SuperMedic inc. ("SuperMedic", "we", "us", "our"), a company based in Quebec, Canada. You can reach us at any time at [email protected].
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing the Platform, creating an account, starting a free trial, or purchasing a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, school, or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.
3. Our services
The Platform provides online first aid training courses, available in multiple languages, for workers, businesses, schools, and families. Upon successful completion of a paid course, you receive a certificate of completion. We also offer a free 30-minute course preview (the "Free Trial") in exchange for a valid email address.
4. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. Each account and each course seat is personal to one named individual and may not be shared. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Purchases and payment
Prices are displayed on the Platform and, unless otherwise indicated, are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Payments are processed securely by third-party payment processors; we do not store your full payment card details. Access to a purchased course is granted once payment has been confirmed.
6. Refunds
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee: you may request a full refund within seven (7) days of purchase, provided the course has not been completed and no certificate has been issued. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
7. License and intellectual property
All content on the Platform — including videos, course materials, text, graphics, logos, and certificates — belongs to SuperMedic inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. When you purchase a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the content for your own training. You may not copy, record, redistribute, resell, publicly display, or share course content or your account access with others.
8. Training and certification disclaimer
Our courses are educational in nature. A certificate of completion attests that you have completed the corresponding online training; it does not by itself guarantee compliance with the specific legal, regulatory, or employer requirements of your jurisdiction or workplace, which may require in-person or hands-on components. It is your responsibility to verify that our training meets the requirements applicable to you. The content of the Platform does not constitute medical advice. In an emergency, always call your local emergency services immediately.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping its content, impersonating others, completing a course or assessment on behalf of another person, or using the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
10. Availability and changes to the services
We work to keep the Platform available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, update, or discontinue features, courses, or pricing at any time. If a course you have purchased is discontinued before you have had a reasonable opportunity to complete it, we will offer you an equivalent course or a refund.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SuperMedic inc. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, and our total liability in connection with the services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Quebec, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules granting you the right to proceed in your own jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
15. Contact
