Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
SuperMedic inc. ("SuperMedic", "we", "us") operates the Worldwide First Aid platform at www.worldwidefirstaid.com (the "Platform"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it. We are based in Quebec, Canada, and comply with applicable privacy legislation, including Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada's PIPEDA. Where the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to users located in the European Economic Area, we honour the rights it provides.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information: identification and account information (name, email address, password, preferred language) when you create an account or start the free 30-minute trial; billing and transaction information (billing address, purchase history — payment card details are collected and processed directly by our payment processors and never stored on our servers); training data (course progress, assessment results, certificates issued); communications you send us (support requests, feedback); and technical data collected automatically (IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited), as described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to: provide access to your courses and issue your certificates; process payments and refunds; respond to your questions; send you service communications about your account or training; send you marketing emails if you signed up for the free trial or otherwise consented — every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link; improve the Platform and our courses; and comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Sharing of information
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to operate the Platform on our behalf — such as our hosting and course delivery platform (Kajabi), payment processors, and email service providers — under obligations of confidentiality, or when required by law. Some of these providers are located outside Quebec and outside Canada (notably in the United States); where information is transferred outside the province or country, we take contractual and other measures so that it receives adequate protection.
4. Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. Certificate and transaction records are kept as long as needed to verify your certification and meet accounting obligations. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and, in certain circumstances, to have it deleted or to withdraw your consent. Users in the EEA also benefit from the rights to portability, restriction, and objection provided by the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We respond within thirty (30) days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
6. Security
We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reliance on reputable providers. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the affected persons and the authorities as required by law.
7. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at SuperMedic inc. can be reached at [email protected].
8. Children
The Platform is intended for adults. Where training is provided to minors (for example through a school or family program), account creation and consent must be handled by a parent, guardian, or authorized organization.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates the current version, and material changes will be communicated through the Platform or by email.
10. Contact
For any question about this policy or your personal information, contact us at [email protected].
